We have a low staff turnover here at Jones Harris, but every so often extra people join us to strengthen various parts of the various teams, and we’re pleased to welcome two new starters who have settled in to life in our Fleetwood offices over recent weeks.
Elizabeth Gillick (above) is the latest ATT qualified accountant to join the Tax Compliance Team, and she’s enjoying life at Jones Harris along with the convenience of coming back to her roots and working closer to her home in Blackpool.
Elizabeth joins us from her previous job in Preston, but before that spent 10 years working in London, and has particular specialism in the area of Ex-Pat Tax.
You might not be aware, but here at Jones Harris all of the people who work on the preparation of your accounts are fully qualified accountants.
Meanwhile, Hannah Wilson (below) has joined the bookkeeping team, settled in well, and is really enjoying working with her new colleagues. Hannah is just about to complete her level 3 ATT Accounting and Finance qualification, at which point she’ll start to work with Jones Harris bookkeeping clients.

Bookkeeping is a relatively new service which enables Jones Harris to offer a complete end-to-end accountancy package, taking clients from receipt to tax return. Our bookkeeping team can provide as much or as little support as your business needs according to your resources, freeing up your time to work on your business rather than in your business.
The bookkeeping service will be particularly beneficial to clients who will soon be required to submit quarterly returns as part of the new Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative, and could completely remove the responsibility of record keeping along with the requirement to file the new quarterly reports to HMRC when MTD is phased in from 2018.
