New ‘Responsible Individual’ at Jones Harris

There’s a new ‘Responsible Individual’ at Jones Harris and we’d like to congratulate one of the newest members of the team on achieving this status.

New ‘Responsible Individual’ at Jones Harris

Each person responsible for audit work and signing audit reports in an audit firm must be a Responsible Individual.  To become a Responsible Individual, the individual must hold a Practicing Certificate and an audit qualification.

James Schofield joined Jones Harris in early 2020 as a Chartered Accountant.

Having fulfilled all the qualification criteria, James will now be responsible for the Audits on a number of clients as and when needed. Responsible Individual status means he can review the Audit files and sign the reports etc.

Well done James!
