Help to Sustain Rural Services using your Local Pub

Did you know that you can get help to sustain rural services using your local pub? Why not explore whether your idea for diversification could become a reality?

Your local pub could be the beating heart of your community. Isolation is a huge issue in rural areas where transport and amenities are scarce. There are so many other ways in which your pub could provide a service to local people – and there’s support available to help you too.

Harrogate based ‘Pub is the Hub’ is making funding available to pubs which are prepared to support their local residents.

Their Community Services Fund can provide a grant of up to £3000 to support your project. They can also provide expert to licensing trade experts, PR and media coverage and much more.

So whether you fancy hosting a farm shop, brewing local beer or providing a community garden, they can help you to get your plans in order.

You’ll find an expression of interest form on their website.

(Note that the fund isn’t suitable for building work, planning and legal costs or disabled access).
