Could you be a Kickstart employer and help to build the future of our young people? You’d be supporting 16–24 year olds who are on Universal Credit back in to work. At the same time providing them with the platform to succeed and valuable work experience onto the career ladder.
Could you be a Kickstart Employer?
Employers of all sizes can apply for funding which covers:
- 100% of the National Minimum Wage (or National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months.
- Associated Employer National Insurance contributions
- Employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions.
Making a Difference
The Kickstart scheme can also be a great way of supporting your own future growth plans. Increase your workforce and talent pool of employees and recruit fresh new talent and ideas into your business.
You would be making a real difference to the lives of our youth in local communities, whilst supporting your own plans for expansion, progression and succession planning.
Further funding is also available for training and development, to support the young person into sustainable employment.
How to become a Kickstart Employer
You can apply for a Kickstart scheme grant by either:
- Applying online yourself
- Getting help from a Kickstart gateway who is already working with the Kickstart scheme.
