Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CBILS)
On 12 May 2020, the Chancellor confirmed that this scheme will be extended until 31 October 2020.
Claims will continue to be based on 80% of furloughed person’s salary – up to the £2,500 maximum – but with additional factors to be considered from 1 August 2020.
From this date, new flexibility will be introduced that will allow furloughed workers to resume part-time. When and if this happens, employers may be asked to contribute to the costs.
[Details of the way the scheme will work after 1 August are promised to follow as soon as possible. Information will be added as soon as it is published.]Keep in touch
